Appointment Policy Walk-in clients are welcome, however appointments are preferred. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments. We now have work-in times available when our appointment schedule is already booked. This basically means that you are a scheduled walk-in, and would be seen before those clients that just walk in the door.
Drop-off Policy There is a $8.00-$12.00 daily boarding fee for pets left all or part of the day for exams, vaccinations, or rechecks. This fee may be waived at the discretion of the veterinarian. This fee does not apply to those pets being left for bathing or grooming. Patient Arrival Policy To better serve our clients, please sign in upon arrival for the following: appointment, walk-in, to drop-off or pick up a pet, and/or to pick-up refilled prescriptions/OTC medications. For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. Prescription Refill Policy To better serve clients we have changed our prescription refill policy. We request that clients call in to reqest a refill of a current prescription or leave a message overnight. Clients that call before 12:00pm (noon) will be able to pick-up the prescription on the same day after 3:00 pm. If a prescription is requested after 12:00pm (noon) the refill will be available for the pick-up the next day during regular business hours. Sunday Pick-up Policy We offer a Sunday pick-up time (5:00pm-5:30pm only) as a courtesy to those clients boarding their pets. We ask that all clients utilizing this service prepay for their pet's boarding. If you would like to pick your pet up from boarding on a Sunday, you must inform the receptionist of this when you drop your pet off. Non-scheduled Sunday pick-ups will be charged a $10.00 fee. *NOTE: It is not cheaper to pick your pet up on Sunday. Clients are charged the same as those who pick there pets up on Monday before noon. Payment Policy We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and personal checks. Check Policy If your check is returned for any reason, you are required to pay the full amount of the check, plus $30.00 fee or the legal limit permitted by your state law. For (NSF) non sufficient fund check this merchant may debit your account electronically by the amount of the check plus $30.00 fee or the legal limit permitted by your state law. There will also be a $15.00 service charge that is not automatically drafted. You are responsible for paying this $15.00 directly to Blue Ridge Animal Hospital to avoid additional finance charges.
